The crazy stat is it won’t happen this year either as neither the Chiefs nor the 49ers have a former Alabama player on the active roster.
That is a pretty crazy stat line. The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team has had 450 players drafted into the National Football League (NFL) since the league began holding drafts in 1936. This includes 79 players taken in the first round and three overall number one picks.
