What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft

My understanding of the game and ability to be a playmaker.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I first got into football at about age 10. My brother played before me and I got into it after he did.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I’m a dependable person who is always driven to grow and develop.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to a local cause called the Bear Clan Patrol that supports the Indigenous communities in Winnipeg.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever received is to believe in yourself.

Who was your childhood hero?

My dad.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Jackson Tachinski. He’s a winner and has been since I’ve known him.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Selfish people

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I tore my ankle in training camp on the first day in 2021. This was tough because this year I was planning on being the starting free safety and I knew it was going to happen. I missed all of training camp due to the injury but in practice 1 of the week 1 game I returned and won the job back.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

The University of Manitoba is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba which is my home. I’ve lived here my whole life so it certainly is special to me for that reason. I also believe playing for the Bisons we’re always going to be underdogs and not receive the same acclaim as other schools in our conference. That certainly fuels me and our program.

What is your favorite snack food?

Bagels and cream cheese

What is the best part of football?

The best part of football for me is when your entire team buys into the same process and continues to grow as a unit. When that team starts to believe in one another it becomes special.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I would say if you select me you’re getting an intelligent, physical football player who is extremely coachable and driven to develop.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I’d compare myself to Kyle Hamilton. We have a similar frame and style of play.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Marcus Aurelius because he was a revolutionary emperor of Rome and a pioneer of stoic philosophy. John Frusciante because he is the guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and my favourite musician. And Atila the Hun because he was one of the greatest conquerors in history.
