A graduate transfer from Bridgewater State University is looking for an opportunity with a D1 program, Shane Drake is a determined and skillful Punter/Kicker who is coached by Sam Lenson in the offseason. 

Lenson, a former College Kicker and now Kicking/Punting coach had this to say on the Grad Transfer “He [Shane Drake] is a strong kid, works hard and his ball contact is pure. He is able to utilize his strength when he drives up and through the ball, we need to continue to work on his flexibility when we get that done he is going to be a force to reckon with.” 

In 2021 Drake would only be the Kickoff specialist where he would record ten touchbacks on 39 Kickoffs (58 Yard Average).

In the 2022 season the 6-foot-2, 220-pound dual threat would connect on seven of his nine field goals (.77%) with a long of 40 yards. As a punter, Shane Drake had an average of 42.5 yards on 39 punts, ten landing inside the 20-yard line, and eight punts that went for 50+ Yards. Drake would continue to be the kickoff specialist where he recorded 20 touchbacks on 66 kickoffs while having an average of 58 yards. 

In the 2023 season, the 22-year-old had an average of 41.2 yards on 43 punts, 13 landed inside the 20, and five 50+ Yard punts. The Bridgewater State kickoff specialist continued to show improvement, 20 touchbacks on 54 kickoffs with an average of 59 yards.
