What was it like playing the 2024 Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl?

Great experience, especially for a small school guy it was great to see how I measured up against some of the nation’s best and competed. Great coaching and the teammates felt like I’ve known them my entire life. 

What do you think NFL teams feel is your best trait? 

My length and quickness. 

Who was your mentor growing up, and what made them a great mentor? 

My older brother Johntae, was a hard worker on and off the court. He did the things that people wouldn’t want to do, very humble and determined. Outside of my mother and father. He’s the most mentally strong person I know. 

Who was the toughest player you had to face during the week of the Hula Bowl?

It would have to be a tie between Ron Stone and Solomon Byrd. Both guys were very versatile. 

What is your favorite television show?

Currently, my favorite show is Power. 

What is your degree in? 

I have a bachelor’s in Business Management with an emphasis in Management. And my master’s in business administration. 

What is the craziest song in your playlist, that we would not expect?

Johnny Cash- Hurt

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL, who would that be? 

I like Lane Johnson. I try to mimic some of his techniques. 

What does your pre-game meal look like?

My pregame meal is usually traditional breakfast food. 

Who is your favorite teacher of All-Time? 

My favorite teacher would be Coach Sutton my strength and conditioning teacher at my time at Pike High School. 

We believe in giving back, If you could give back to one amazing charity or foundation what would it be? 

I’ve always wanted to start my foundation to give away sneakers to children. 

What is your favorite color? 

Red and Sky Blue 

What is your dream job after football? 

To have my clothing line, and store for sneakers and clothes.
