What was it like playing the 2024 Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl?

  • It was a phenomenal experience getting to showcase my abilities against high level competition from across the country.

What do you think NFL teams feel is your best trait?

  • I think my ball skills and hands catching the ball paired with my athleticism are best traits. Catching the ball feels very natural for me and I think that’s pretty evident when you watch me play.

Who was your mentor growing up, and what made them a great mentor?

  • My Dad has been my mentor my entire life. He is one of the hardest working people I have ever been around and really instilled in me a strong work ethic early on in my life.

Who was the toughest player you had to face during the week of the Hula Bowl?

  • I would say in the run game trying to block the defensive end from Indiana Andre Carter as well as the defensive end from Albany AJ Simon were two guys that stuck out to me. Very strong physical guys that were hard to move.
  • In the receiving game I thought that the safety from Alabama Jaylen Key had good size and physicality at that position.

What is your favorite television show?

  • Probably The Office or Yellowstone

What is your degree in?

  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

What is the craziest song in your playlist, that we would not expect?

  • Sleeping on the Blacktop

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL, who would that be?

  • I think there is a lot of similarities in my game to past tight ends that have made the transition from basketball to football just like I did. Some would be Jimmy Graham and Julius Thomas but I try to watch as many different tight ends as possible to learn as much as I can even if their role looks a little different than what mine would be.

What does your pre-game meal look like?

  • I like to eat pretty light with lots of fruit mixed in so maybe a light sandwich and fruit or if it’s an early afternoon game eggs and fruit at breakfast.

Who is your favorite teacher of All-Time?

  • I had Andrew Wiltshire for a professor at Ferris State University and really enjoyed him. He always made an effort to relate to his students outside of class as much as possible.

We believe in giving back, If you could give back to one amazing charity or foundation what would it be?

  • No More Sidelines. It is a foundation that helps special needs kids be able to participate in athletics and other events just as normal kids are able to. I grew up working with special needs kids and have always enjoyed being around them so I would give as much back to them as I could.

What is your favorite color?

  • Green

What is your dream job after football?

  •  I will always want to stay involved in football in some sort of capacity for as long as I can but I think a dream job would be coaching in the NFL or owning a ranch out west somewhere.
