Patriots signed DB Marco Wilson
Written by Karver Jordan
The New England Patriots have signed DB Marco Wilson off of waivers, the 24-year old DB has recorded 158 total tackles over the course of his three year NFL Career. The 6-foot-1, 191 pound defensive back has also recorded three interceptions with one going for a touchdown. The former Arizona Cardinal is headed to the Patriots, expect him to get playing time vs the Buffalo Bills.
Two things to expect from New England vs Buffalo:
One thing to expect from the New England Patriots is for the defense to do everything they can to shut down Buffalo star quarterback Josh Allen. The signal caller for the Bills is coming off a three touchdown game vs the Los Angeles Chargers, two rushing and one passing.
Bill Belichick almost always finds a way to shut down opposing teams players, you can count on Belichick doing the same here. New England is going to spy either a linebacker or a safety to help slow down the Dual-Threat quarterback. Mack Wilson would be my guess for the QB Spy position, let the speed linebacker shut down the Dual-Threat QB.
Another thing to expect from the Patriots vs Buffalo game is expect Bailey Zappe to continue to be on fire, The Bills defense allowed the Chargers to have 273 yards on them with a new coach, a new quarterback, and no big time names on offense besides RB Austin Ekeler.
Bailey Zappe is coming off his best game of his career, the Quarterback completing 25 of his 33 passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns. Expect Zappe and this Patriots offense to continue to perform vs the Bills secondary.
Karver’s Final Thoughts:
Since the Patriots are out of the playoff run you might as well keep trying to knock others out of it, especially the Buffalo Bills. The fan base is divided into two different parts, one being rooting for the win and one rooting for the loss. With that being said I am going to take the Patriots winning this game and sweeping the Buffalo Bills this season.
