What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?
My versatility and speed. I can line up as a running back or receiver and I’ll be able to make plays. I can run the ball inside as much as I can line up outside and run a deep route. I think this versatility can create mismatches against opposing defenses.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
I got into football a bit late at 15-16 years old. I played a lot of other sports during my childhood.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I’m a hard worker, I always worked for everything that I got and I always strive to be the best version of myself on and off the field.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
World hunger, there are so many places in the world that are affected by it and I think living in Canada we are just privileged to suffer less from that.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Prove yourself to yourself. Let others doubt you.
Who was your childhood hero?
Both my parents.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
One of the toughest moments I had was when I tore my ACL right before the COVID-19 pandemic. It was such a long and difficult process to be able to get surgery and rehab properly with everything shut down. I remember having to build a gym in my garage just to be able to work out and come back completely healthy for the next season.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
Bishop’s being a small school you get to meet so many people from everywhere in the world. It’s also great to see how alumni are still proud of their school and stay involved.
What is your degree in?
I’m studying Sports Studies with a concentration in Athletic Development and Business.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
I’m dedicated and hard-working.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
I would compare my playing style to Christian Mccaffrey or D’Andre Swift, both really good runners but who can also make plays outside the backfield as receivers.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I would like to have dinner with Adrian Peterson. Being one of the greatest running backs in the NFL, to be able to talk with him and understand his mindset and how he overcame adversity in his life and football career would be incredible.
