16-year-old Arkansas high school star football player shot and killed after beating cancer
Kendall Burton was a beast on the football field in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and had already overcome cancer, beating cancer back in 2016.
We are learning the Sophomore star football player was shot and found dead at the intersection of South Georgia and East 25th Avenue, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas becoming the first homicide victim in the city for the year.
Pine Bluff PD said Burton was killed at around 8:30 p.m., on January 12th. There is currently no suspect information.
Burton played football for the Zebras and head football coach Michael Williams said he was the type of student that always did the right thing. When Williams got word of Burton’s death, he couldn’t believe it.
Williams said Burton was a leader and a beast on the field.
