Player Summary:

6th YR RS SR and 2 yr full-time starter at WR where he shows very good position versatility lining up at both outside WR positions and occasionally in the slot in the balanced offense of NDST. He possesses rare height with solid weight and poor speed with a skinny build. He is an ordinary athlete showing a combination of solid balance with average explosiveness, ordinary COD, acceleration, lateral quickness and agility and mediocre top end play speed. He displays solid FBI as he reads the defense and finds the soft spot in zone coverage. He does a solid job of using his excellent length and solid play strength to defeat the jam at the LOS from CB with adequate size. He possesses good hands as he displays above-average manual dexterity that enables him to possess a catch radius that allows him to catch the ball with his hands away from his body. He is very good in contested catch situations as he boxes out CB with ordinary ball skills and high points the ball before making the catch. He is above-average at adjusting his body to the ball on passes thrown off-target. He does a solid job of working his way back to the QB on broken plays. He is a sufficient run blocker as he shows the willingness to block and displays solid physical toughness with average UOH in his punch, placement and timing as he maintains his block against DB with ordinary play strength. He exhibits average physical toughness as he elevates his play in the redzone. He exhibits ordinary explosiveness off the LOS combined with adequate hip fluidity as he breaks off his stem at a 45- and 90-degree angle. Ordinary AA prevents him from separating against off-man from CB with good play speed who can read his hips. Mediocre play speed prevents him from gaining significant YAC consistently.

Scheme Fit:

XWR

Power Statement:

Versatile player with rare height and good hands. He is above-average in contested catch situations and is a willing blocker. Lack of quality AA and top end play speed limit his playmaking ability with the ball in his hands.
