What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?

I led the nation in interceptions at my position 2 years in a row which left me at 16 interceptions in 2 season! I got GLIAC defensive of player of the year! 2 time All American at my position! I would’ve led the nation at Purdue this past year but my NCAA waiver to go d1 was denied !

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

4th grade, around 9 years old!

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

They should know that I have speed, great ball skills, great return skills and that I love what I do and that’s playing football!

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to my mother’s lupus foundation!

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Hard work beats talent!

My dad

Cam Underwood

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who know they didn’t brush their teeth that morning and still have the nerve to be all up in your face talking!

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I was a sophomore in college and my mom ended up having a severe heart attack. I got a phone call from my sister telling me that she didn’t know if our mom was going to make it or not. I had to make the decision to either stay at college while my Mom is fighting for her life or go be there for her and my siblings & family! Around the time that was a very hard decision because I was giving up the sport I fell in love with but it was worth every bit of it!

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Ferris State is back 2 back champions and is ran by great coaches that’s what makes Ferris State so special!

What is your favorite snack food?

My favorite snack is chocolate chip cookies (soft ones).

What is the best part of football?

I think the best part of football is scoring a touchdown! If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say? I’m a goal oriented – person who thrives on setting and achieving challenges!
