Three things Patriot fans want to see in the Chargers vs the Patriots game
Written by Karver Jordan
Patriot fans have given up hope on this season and just expect the team to tank. There is still some stuff Patriot fans want to see in this upcoming matchup. As a Patriot fan myself I want to watch an entertaining game where New England Scores some points and makes it worth watching. Here are a few things that Patriot fans want to see.
Malik Cunningham:
One thing New England fans want to see is Malik Cunningham, the Undrafted Rookie WR/QB out of Louisville. After a surprising Training Camp/Preseason the hype train is still strong, “Malik Mania” as some fans call it. Expect to see the Speedy QB get reps vs Los Angeles in certain packages, all Patriot fans are just hoping for a little spark.
Younger guys getting more chances:
As the Patriots season is coming to an end, Fans want to see more from younger players like Keion White, Chad Ryland, and Tyquan Thornton. Rookie(s) Keion White and Chad Ryland have been both very underwhelming and the fanbase expected both players to be better. Both of the rookies have shown bright spots, something to keep in mind for the future. Tyquan Thornton needs to be better, plain and simple – the second-year wide receiver has been close to nonexistent. Some of the blame is 25% on Injuries, 25% of that is poor route running, 25% of that is on poor QB play, and 25% of that is body frame. New England wants to see more of the younger guys since they are in rebuild mode.
Exciting and Safe Football:
One last thing that New England wants to see is Exciting and Safe Football, as the Season is over it is important to keep the players safe. I want to see the Patriots offense start clicking and scoring points. We need as much momentum as we can get heading into Free Agency and the 2024 NFL Draft.

Karver’s Final Thoughts:
New England is going against a high-powered Chargers Offense however, this Defense can handle the High Powered Offense – The real question is how will a Bailey Zappe-led Offense face off against the Chargers?
