Jayden Daniels 2023 season/film breakdown

The Heisman Quarterback had himself an exciting 2023 season with the LSU Tigers, now the next step is to the NFL. Here is a season breakdown and film review on the Tigers young quarterback. 

About Jayden Daniels: 

Height and Weight: 6-foot-4, 210 pounds

Age: 23

School: LSU 

In the 2023 season, Daniels took off in the Brian Kelly Offense. The 6-foot-4 Quarterback completed 236 of his 327 passes for 3,812 yards with 40 touchdown passes to only four interceptions. Daniels finished his season with a completion percentage of 72.2% and led the Tigers to a 9-3 record.  

The Quarterback was phenomenal on the ground and showed off his rushing ability multiple times in the 2023 season. The Quarterback had 135 rushing attempts for 1,134 yards and 10 touchdowns.  

Stats from Best game of 2023: 

The LSU Tigers were going against the Florida Gators, Daniels showed up the young signal caller completed 17 of his 26 passes for 372 yards with three touchdown passes. The 6-foot-4 quarterback would also have 12 rushing attempts for 234 yards and two touchdowns.

Pros: 

-Quick Burst of speed when running 

-Pocket movement is solid 

–Shifty in Open Space

-Decently strong arm, ability to most of the throws

-Good touch on the football

-Has Determination and leadership 

-Accurate on medium/deep throws 

Cons: 

-Body frame is lean at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds 

-Lacks ability of sliding, Takes multiple hits that could be prevented by Sliding
