Florida State was screwed by the NCAA and it sounds like the FSU football players are doing what is in their best interest. Mike Norvell is going to do his best to put a game on, but it could be one of the most ugly games in NCAA history. I am kind of glad too. I personally wish FSU would not take the field, I mean it is the only way to screw the NCAA for their horrible choice. But it sounds like some people will in fact show up to play, just not the stars.

The Florida State players showed up to the Orange Bowl and Mike Norvell send out a very cryptic tweet, that makes you wonder if FSU will even have enough to play the game.

It almost feels like a jab at his former players.

Norvell addressed his lack of star players by telling the media, in part, “It’s about the players that are here and the work that they put in. I’m grateful for every player that we have. Life is full of choices and these guys, like I said the last month has been really challenging, you know coming off the championship game, a lot of emotion, guys having to make tough and challenging decisions, but the guys that are here I know we’re excited about it and looking forward to the week of preparation and the competition that’s ahead.”

He is trying to fire himself up, but Georgia may win by 60.

The team is going to be without Jared Verse, Trey Benson, Johnny Wilson, probably Jaheim Bell and Fabien Lovett. I would not be shocked if a lot of defenders sit out too. Glenn Brock is going to have to suit up to play QB, because Tate Rodemaker is leaving the program.

FSU’s quarterback Brock has thrown for just 90 yards on 25 pass attempts.
