Patriots sign Linebacker Christian Elliss off of Waivers
Written by Karver Jordan
The New England Patriots made this move on Thursday, Elliss the 24 year old linebacker spent a few seasons with the Eagles before being waived on Wednesday. Elliss is a solid special teams player who could develop in New England.
Elliss is 6-foot-3 231 pounds and has appeared in 19 total games, the 24 year old recorded 35 total tackles with Philadelphia.
What to expect:
The Patriots season has been on the losing end for the whole year so it is definitely worth a shot giving the LB a chance early on. Expect Christian Elliss to be used in some defensive fronts soon, Elliss will mostly get Special Team reps based on his history playing on the ST Unit.
