What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft

I am a top prospect because my game translates to the NFL. My pocket presence, quick release, and quick decisions are compared to David Garrard & Tavaris Jackson. I also have the ability to stretch plays with my feet and athleticism and pick up yards on the ground when needed. I’m a complete leader on and off the field and I believe in taking extreme ownership/accountability for everything that happens. I also feel that I’m apart of the dying breed of athletes who genuinely play this game to be the greatest and not just for a salary.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I’ve been playing football since I was 4. Growing up it was how I bonded with my dad who couldn’t spend a lot of time with me due to him being a single parent and working a lot. He was my coach all the way until high school and that’s how I fell in love with the game.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

NFL teams should know I’m a relentless competitor. If you asked me what the theme of my life story would be, the answer would be perseverance. I don’t shy away from life’s challenges, I activate my mental toughness and continue to build off of my losses and shortcomings.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to the homeless and hungry. Not only for them to be fed but also for them to receive some sort of rehabilitation so they can get a fresh start in the world.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever received was to finish getting my degree and playing college football. In a time where I was at my lowest, and that decision got me to where I am today. Huge shout out to former UConn Quarterback and my mentor, Dennis Brown II.

Who was your childhood hero?

My childhood hero would have to be my dad. My mom wasn’t around, and he’s been my biggest supporter my entire life.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

The most underrated guy on my team would have to be one of our corners, Kavon Martin. This guy is one of the best corners I’ve seen and played with on all levels. Great guy and a great brother to be around!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is simply not being straight forward.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

My favorite teacher would have to be Ms. Chantell Radford from my 3rd grade class at Golden Glades Elementary! It was always fun being in her class.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I’ve had so many adversities in my life that it’s truly difficult to figure out which was the most challenging. The one I’d say I still struggle with the most is not having that motherly love & support in my corner when I need it.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Warner University took a chance on a guy that was coming back from a labrum tear and hadn’t played in 2 years. Coach Dialleo Burks and his staff are amazing and really gave me the platform and confidence I needed to get back into this game!

If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?

The #1 franchise restaurant of course would be chipotle! This is my absolute go to! And it’s actually healthy.

What is your favorite snack food?

My favorite snack food, I’m going to have to go with hot Cheetos. They’ve been my #1 since I was young.

What is your degree in?

My bachelor’s degree will be in Sports Management. When I’m done playing, I aspire to enter the world of coaching and pour out my knowledge to the next generation of great QBs!

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

If we’re referencing a current NFL quarterback I’d have to say I’m probably closest to Jalen Hurts or Geno Smith.

What is your favorite game to play t the carnival/theme park?

My favorite game to play at a carnival has to be the 3pt shootout. There is no one on this planet who will beat me in that!

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

If I’m having dinner with 3 people, I’m going to call Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, & Mike Tyson. These 3 individuals are some of my favorite competitors of all time and I would love to hear their perspectives on leadership, what it takes to be the greatest, the different mountains they had to climb, and then some laidback conversations about their experiences, lives, and careers.
