Alabama is preparing for Michigan big time | Even preparing for sign-stealing
Is Alabama taking every step possible to ensure their signs are not stolen by Michigan? Isaiah Bond a wide receiver for Alabama said the players are not able to watch game film on their tablets and can only watch the film from one computer at the facility for this game.
Another player in Jase McClellan backed up bond by saying, “We’re just trying to secure our stuff. [The coaches] didn’t do much explaining. They just did it, told us and we adjusted to it…We get used to it; we watch film on a daily basis, but on our own time we don’t get to watch it on our own now. We just come all together to watch it. I don’t see it as a disadvantage; we have had a couple of weeks to watch film,”
This is interesting, so when Alabama offensive coordinator Tommy Rees was asked about the situation, he remained silent, saying,
“I’m not going to get into the whole film thing like that. I’m not talking about it. Like I said, our job is to give our players the best chance to have success on the field. We’re focused on what we’re trying to do, and that’s really it,”
It sounds like Alabama is trying to protect themselves from the Michigan tactics, but will it work? We will find out in a couple days because the NCAA Championship Playoffs kick off on the 1st of January.
