Week 12 Top FBS Performers | Presented by the Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl
The Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl will be played in Orlando, Florida on January 13th, 2024 and is televised on CBS Sports. The staff at NFL Draft Diamonds has worked for the past three years as the scouting staff for the Hula Bowl, and we are excited to get the 2023-24 season underway. With tons of great football games in the NCAA this week, we wanted to break down several of the Top Performers in the FBS that would have eligibility to play in our game. We are definitely watching, and had scouts at 9 games this week around the country. Let’s break down some of the best performances from week 12.
Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami – Miami could not get the win over Louisville, but the Miami standout wide receiver had a monster day hauling in 8 passes for 193 yards and scoring once. Restrepo has really been fantastic this season for the Hurricanes.
Dayton Wade, WR, Ole Miss – Is there a player in college football that is making bigger plays than Dayton Wade? The Atlanta, Georgia native has been making some ridiculous catches the past few weeks and hauled in another 7 balls for 108 yard and a touchdown.
Frank Harris, QB, UTSA – Harris had a huge performance this week against USF throwing for 411 yards and scoring three touchdowns through the air and adding an additional 3 touchdowns on the ground on 10 carries. Harris rumbled for 112 yards on the ground.
Cody Schrader, RB, Missouri – One of the best stories in college football continues to be amazing. Schrader tore up the Gators this past week running for 148 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries.
Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan – The corner for the Wolverines was everywhere on the field against Maryland and had a monster week. He came away with two huge interceptions against Maryland to get the Wolverines the win.
