Two Tennessee Vols football players were cited for reckless driving recently
Two Tennessee Vols football players were cited for reckless driving in the past several weeks, according to multiple news sources.
Tennessee starting cornerback Doneiko Slaugher and freshman running back DeSean Bishop were both cited for reckless driving, and Slaughter was hit moments after the Vols loss to Georgia.
“We are aware of the citation, and this matter is being handled internally,” UT said in a statement
Slaughter, 22, was issued two misdemeanor citations by the University of Tennessee Police Department during a traffic stop around 1 a.m. Sunday.
He was cited for reckless driving and improper lane change because he drove over the median, the police report said.
Bishop a solid running back was cited back on October 29th.
