What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I played almost every sport growing up and with football being in my family for so long, I fell in love with it right away.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Traveling across the country meeting new teammates and playing in new venues every year.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I would love an opportunity to play football professionally. Perfecting my craft as a wide receiver to make an impact no matter where I end up.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Chad Johnson for sure, his personality and character is unmatched. Also his knowledge of the game and being one of the best at the receiver position, there would be a lot that I could learn from him.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mother, she has done everything in her power to help me get to where I am today and being able to play professionally would be the icing on the cake for both of us.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

My favorite scheme/concept offensively would have to be any sort of mesh or switch concept. There are so many different route combinations to run off of these concepts and can be used to beat both man and zone effectively. If not prepared defensively, both of these can be a tough challenge to match up with.

What should we know about Severyn Foster the person?

Attacking adversity and not quitting has got me to where I am today. I would say I’m more of a leader by example and doing everything by the book has been a strong suit for me.

What stands out about your film the most?

Regardless of the play call, I am always moving with the same speed. Savvy wide receiver that can make plays at will and be physical. Not only being able to get open in any route concept, but run blocking is also a strong suit in my game. Another thing that stands out about my film is being able to break the first tackle after catch.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Attacking everything head on. Never backing down from a challenge and always trusting god has been my go to plan for handling all challenges in life.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a player who buys into the program and everything that they are trying to accomplish. Also a player that does everything that’s asked of him.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The thing I love the most about football is how it brings people together from all walks of life. No matter what kind of background you come from, everyone has one common goal and that is to win.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

In the most recent years I would have to say it would be Mason Kinsey. Defensive player that I believe had NFL talent, just didn’t get the opportunity due to certain circumstances. The tape for sure speaks for itself when talking about underrated players.
