Patriot Questions regarding Draft and Mac Jones, Boston College Questions, and More!

Writer Karver Jordan will answer New England fan’s questions regarding all New England Sport Teams, In this week’s Mailbag Karver will talk about Patriot Questions and Boston College Eagle Questions.

Question #1

Do you see a chance that the Patriots will have Mac Jones as their starting QB in 2024, with a better O-line, a top veteran WR from the FA market, a top rookie WR, and a TE from the draft?

I believe there is a small chance of the Patriots keeping Mac Jones as the starter moving forward. As of right now, those chances are very slim, and very low percentages due to the horrific play on the field. I think New England will either release/trade Jones in the offseason. As New England moves forward, Caleb Williams or Drake Maye should be the number one of the many priorities to get in New England.

Offensive Line and Wide Receiver should be what New England focuses on the most. I wouldn’t give up on the young Offensive Line quite yet.

Draft a Wide Receiver in the Second – Third Round. This draft is loaded with multiple players who have talent.

Question #2

If they get a top-five pick, should the Patriots trade to get two first-round picks?

Odds and predictions are leaning towards New England getting a top five pick, it could be a possible outcome but isn’t very likely. The Patriots could trade back in the first then draft a Wide Receiver and then pick a Quarterback in second – Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr should be there, Jayden Daniels could fall to the late first round.

Question #3

When the smoke clears with the Patriots, will it be Belichick, O’Brien, or Jones getting shown the door first?

Mac Jones would most definitely be shown the door first, does he deserve all the blame? Absolutely not. Bill Belichick hasn’t given Jones the Targets to succeed but an NFL QB should be able to hit open targets, Jones struggles sometimes and rushes the throws. It is time for a fresh start in New England.

Question #4

What does BC have to do to get back to being a ranked team annually?

Boston College had a solid season, some play calls were tough, mental errors held them back but I believe this team has what it takes to become a ranked team they have shown promise. One thing BC must do is improve every game and don’t get behind, Boston College got into holes they couldn’t get themselves out of.
