What made you decide wanted to be a football player?

I started to play football around the 5th-6th grade, and when I scored my first touchdown for my little league team I instantly fell in love.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

It would have to be playing in little league games, my first varsity football game, and winning the WAC Conference championship last year in 2022.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Find ways to becoming a better in every single facet of the game at my position.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who?

Barry Sanders and Troy Polamalu.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

Both my parents and my brother because they always have my support and encourage me to be the best I can be in whatever I do.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Any scheme I feel like I can be very effective and make plays in. I’ve played in mostly a one high scheme that uses me in a variety of ways. I love being able to play around the box for run support, playing as the deep safety in the post, and coming off the edge or interior in the blitz game.

What should we know about Myles Heard the person?

I’m a hard worker on and off the field and I’m willing to do and achieve anything that I put my mind to!

What stands out about your film the most?

My ability to be instinctive in the run and pass game, physicality/ability to make tackles and flying to the ball, and my blitzing ability.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Falling back on my faith. I give all my problems to God and remind myself that every thing happens for a reason and know that during times of struggle he is testing me. His plan for me is already written, his plan is always better than the plans that I have for myself.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A hard worker that is going to come in everyday with the mindset of getting 1% better than the day I was before and bringing others along with me.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Brotherhood and the chance to compete with other people who want I what I want.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Tkai Lloyd who I played with at SFA. He’s one of the most competitive players I’ve ever played with and just knows how to make plays and be around the ball.
