What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?
My size, strength and speed combination is what sets me apart initially. I move very quickly and agile for my size.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
Grade 9 is when I first started playing contact football but I played flag football in school when I was younger before that.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
That I’m a hard worker with a winning mentality.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to the cause of hunger and food security because no one should be hungry, especially when you realize how much food people waste everyday.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Something along the lines of: “You know the things you need to work on because they are the things you feel most uncomfortable doing.”
Who was your childhood hero?
Michael Jordan
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
Wade Inge. He contributes to the game not just physically by playing, but also by acting as an extension of the coaches on and off the field.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When you’re driving the ‘speed limit’ and someone speeds up right behind you. And sometimes it’s not even like you can go faster or move out the way because there’s a bunch of traffic.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Dr. Marine. She’s really passionate about her job and she genuinely wants all her students to succeed.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
When I flunked out of school after my freshman year of college that was hard. But I never lost hope and I worked hard to bounce back and it paid off because I made the dean’s list and I graduated. Also, I’m currently in grad school studying to get my master’s in business administration. So, In the end that adversity actually made me stronger.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
Delaware State is special to me because it was my home for all these years and I met a lot of great people and learned a lot about life here.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
You can’t go wrong with Chick-fil-A, but it would need to be open on Sunday at my House.
What is your favorite snack food?
Chocolate chip cookies
What is your degree in?
I have a degree in mass communications and I’m currently studying to get my master’s in business administration.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
I am a hardworking and versatile athlete with a positive attitude and a winning mentality in athletics and in life.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
Present day: Derrick Henry. Old school: Eric Dickerson.
What is your favorite game to play at the carnival/theme park?
The basketball shooting machine.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Napoleon Hill, because I like his books and I’d want to learn more. Kobe Bryant, because almost everything he said was profound in the world of sports. Jesus Christ, because that would be a one of one experience and I would gain a lot from his wisdom.
