Female files lawsuit alleging that former Buffalo Bills star Marcellus Wiley sexually assaulted her
According to a lawsuit filed in New York’s Supreme Court under the Adult Survivors Act, a woman launched several claims against former NFL superstar Marcellus Wiley, stating that he not only raped her multiple times, but that Columbia gave Wiley favor as a star athlete when she highlighted the incident to the athletics director.
The victim reportedly attempted suicide and met with several other women who suffered assault by Wiley.
The lawsuit is very scary, and she claims that Wiley was invited to her dorm room several times and told Wiley she was a virgin, but he failed to respect that decision. She claims he raped her several times in the lawsuit.
This rape reportedly happened back in 1994, and Columbia did in fact take action by placing Wiley on academic probation.
The Bills would eventually draft Wiley and he played in the NFL for 10-years. He is also a sports analyst now, so this is pretty big news.
