What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
The love for the sport before I even started playing football made want to be a football player.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
I have a couple of favorite moments from my football life. My first one would probably be my first touchdown in little league. I broke a 93 yard touchdown the first play of the game. Next, would be winning two conference championships in a row and making it to the elite 8 in the playoffs. Finally, I would say playing Newberry in the second round of the Division 2 playoffs and having the only two touchdowns in the game with one being the game winner. It was definitely one of the best moments I’ve had in my football life.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My mom inspires me the most because not only did she work hard, but she never complained about it either. She really taught me the value of hard work and it is something that has stuck with me since I was a kid.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I’m looking to be able to showcase my abilities and play professional football somewhere.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Probably would be Steve Smith. The way he approached the game was something I never have seen before especially at his size.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
I mean I play wr, so I love an air raid offense. It gives me a chance to run numerous routes and show my versatility as a receiver.
What should we know about Keshane Hinckley the person?
As a player you should know that I’m a dedicated and hardworking leader. While in my everyday life I’m a humble, attentive, and family oriented person.
What stands out about your film the most?
I think my playmaking ability stands out the most on my film. My film also shows that I win my one on one matchups and that I am a reliable target.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
Throughout my life I had to persevere through a lot of different challenges and I figured out the only way to handle them is to work through them.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A team would get a smart playmaker who works extremely hard.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love how the game of football worked as therapy for me. When I’m on the field my mind is clear, and nothing really matters but football.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
This is a hard one because there’s a lot of guys especially in my group this past year that are extremely talented, but I think the most underrated player I played with is Kyle Parker. I’ve seen him get better and better each year and I think with the right amount of snaps he is for sure an all conference guy.
