Player Summary:
Warren is a 6th-year TE who has started in 31 of 52 games, including all 11 games for the 2023 campaign without any impactful injuries. He has been positioned in multiple ways in the TNUN offense, sniffer, attached TE, flexed out as slot, and RB. Warren processes very good height and weight with a firm athletic build, long arms, and a solid combination of speed, agility, acceleration, balance, and short-range bursts. He is a very smart individual earning his undergraduate in Kinesiology and a Master of science in agricultural leadership, education, and communication. This has translated to his high FBI as he can be a quality chess piece that you move around to get a favorable match-up. In the current system, he is mainly used as an additional blocker and in that capacity, he has shown solid UOH and play strength at the POA against additional LBs in the box and DEs. Warren competes at every position, every play. He is a solidly consistent TE who is strong in the run game and is a quiet leader. He displays adequate separation and quickness in his route running and ball skills. Not a high target in his current offense, but is very valuable in pass protection as well as all facets of the run game.
Scheme Fit:
1 and 2 gap run schemes
Power Statement:
Long arm and athletic body TE who can be moved to multiple positions on the field with an elite FBI which allows him to be efficient in space as a blocker or pass catcher.
