Pittman’s Pocket: HBCU True Freshman of the week Performer
Week 10 is in the books for HBCU Football, and this week we wanted to give a shoutout to the best True Freshman Performance of the week!
Shaw University True Freshman Navian Hillard did phenomenal this past Saturday, but this week’s winner has to go to South Carolina State running back Jawarn Howell #22.
Howell rushed for 3 touchdowns and rumbled for over 280 yards as a True Freshman. Howell is just 293 yards from a thousand yards on the year.
