Player Summary:
Losoya III is a 5th-year SR/TR from TNMI to MSST who played in 42 career games (19 at MSU) while making 29 starts (15 at MSU). He possesses an athletic build that has changed from the ‘22 season to the ‘23 season adding quality mass to help him drop his anchor and withstand the bull rush, which shows. He has played multiple interior positions on the offensive line including 1 start at center against ALUN in week 8 of the ‘22 season (and played well), LG for the rest of the ‘22 season, and now at RG where he looks more comfortable and quicker in his stance. His high FBI has allowed him to move to different positions along the line and not be out of place in the passing and running games. At any position on the offensive line, he can adjust to pick up blitzes as well as passing off twists and stunts. His agility and short area acceleration allow him to gain leverage over defenders in the zone run scheme, and work up to the second level where he displaces LBs. Does not overly finish blocks, but he is competitive on each rep and will work to secure his block on any level. He plays with adequate play strength and shows good UOH getting into his block in the run game, maintaining leverage through the play, and redirecting pass rushers. Good agility to slide feet and is very efficient and smooth in the passing game.
Scheme Fit:
Zone (RG, OC)
Power Statement:
Smooth and patient blocker in all facets of the game. Quick and agile with his feet and shows good balance moving to the second level in the run game. A high processor who has played multiple positions along the line, and is a plug-and-play athlete.
