Patriots sign WR Jalen Reagor to 53 man roster | Patriots vs Dolphins Preview | Possibility of No Tyreek Hill?
Written by Karver Jordan
The New England Patriots are coming off a very close win vs the Buffalo Bills, New England moves on to be 2-5 on the season. Miami is coming off a tough loss vs the Philadelphia Eagles, they are going to be hungry for their matchup vs New England.
Jalen Reagor signed off of Practice Squad to 53 Man Roster Thursday
The New England Patriots have signed Wide Receiver Jalen Reagor off the Practice Squad after a good game vs Buffalo. Reagor is a speedy wideout who played 25 total snaps for the Patriots vs the Bills – Reagor would get separation on one of his plays and make a 11 yard grab.
Patriots Preview vs Miami Dolphins
Expect Mac Jones to continue to sling the rock, the Offensive Line FINALLY gave him some time to throw the ball. The biggest name to watch on the Patriots is Rookie WR DeMario “Pop” Douglas, the kid is outstanding. Douglas had four receptions for 54 vs Buffalo, I would expect him to see more targets this week vs the Dolphins.
New Englands Defense will be in for a tough task this week vs Miami, Tua Tagovailoa has been playing like an MVP all season long – Stopping his passing attack is key for this game, Tagovailoa went 23-32 for 216 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Miami is now 5-2 after a 31-17 loss vs Philadelphia, a key name to watch for is Jaylen Waddle; Shut down the speedy wide out and force other guys to get the ball. JC Jackson will either be covering Tyreek Hill or Jaylen Waddle. That is my prediction.
Here is more on Tyreek Hill:
Tyreek suffered a Hip injury and was on the injury report for the Miami Dolphins, Hill would not practice on Wednesday. Losing Tyreek Hill would be a HUGE loss for Miami, it would completely change the game plan.
Karver’s Final Thoughts:
New England is looking to carry the momentum into this Matchup vs Miami, stopping the Dolphins offense and forcing them to turnover the ball is HUGE for this game. If Mac Jones and this Patriots receiving core is moving as one unit I do not think the Dolphins stand a chance.
Game information:
New England will be at Miami this Sunday for the 1:00 PM EST Matchup
