The New England Patriots have signed former Memphis University standout and Green Bay Packers running back Patrick Taylor Jr to their practice squad. Let’s take a look at the young career of the Running Back.

College: Memphis
College Career:
The young RB played phenomenally at Memphis, the 6-foot-2 running back got a lot of reps throughout the years at Memphis. Over the course of his four-year career, The RB recorded 536 rushing attempts for 2,884 yards and 36 touchdowns (5.4 yards per average) – Taylor got a few receptions throughout his career Patrick Taylor recorded 55 receptions for 434 yards and three touchdowns.
Professional Career:
After Taylors’ phenomenal career at Memphis the Green Bay Packers gave the RB a chance, Taylor played well with Green Bay. Over the three seasons the RB spent with the Packer, he played in 27 games and recorded 44 carries for 151 yards and one touchdown.

The Patriots signed a hidden gem, I believe Taylor can truly be something for the Patriots this year. This is a great signing for both Parties, we will see how this all works out in the coming weeks.
