Arkansas standout football player John Morgan III collapsed on the field | Reports say he is alert

John Morgan III, a 23-year-old standout football player for the Arkansas Razorbacks took two steps on a light contact play before falling to the ground and needing immediate medical attention.
Morgan remained on the field for over five minutes as the crowd observed the scary scene in silence at AT&T Stadium.
As he was eventually carted off into the tunnel, the Razorbacks faithful honored the player with a round of applause.
There are now reports that the 6’2, 270-pound defensive lineman was blinking and talking as he was loaded onto the cart and taken to the hospital.
When the game resumed, Texas A&M went on to secure a 34-22 win to take their season record to 4-1, while Arkansas’ latest defeat takes them to 2-3 on the year.
