Ian Wheeler #27 from Howard vs USF in 2022 had 5 carries for 45 yards. Ian Wheeler had 8 carries for 67 yards against Eastern Michigan with an 8.4 yard carry.
Lewis Matthews #57 from Grambling State had a big game in 2022 against Arkansas State with 12 tackles, 10 solo and 2 assists. This year against LSU Matthews had 2 tackles solo and 3 assisted out of 5 tackles. LSU produces some of the best Offensive linemen in the country. Matthews holds his own.
Kasey Hawthorne #3 from Howard 5 carries 25 yards and 1 touchdown, 3 receptions for 13 yards in 2022 vs USF. 2023 vs. Eastern Michigan Kasey had 7 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown, with a 6.7 average, 3 receptions 37 yards and a touchdown with a average of 12.3.
Isaiah Majors #0 from FAMU has been the most consistent HBCU prospect. Against FBS North Carolina last year in his first year at FAMU after transferring from Independence CC. 9 tackles 6 solo and a 0.5 TFL. In his Senior Campaign against USF, 12 tackles 9 solo, 2 sacks, 2.5 TFL.
