We are now past the middle part of the season, a few players stood out in week 5 at the HBCU level.

Alcorn State Quarterback Aaron Allen had a good game against Alabama State throwing 32/46 for 370 yards, with 2 touchdowns and INT.

Trejon Spiller from Prairie View A&M had a phenomenal game catching 4 passes for 109 yards in their defeat against Grambling State.

Grambling State wide receiver Lyndon Rush had another impactful game with 7 receptions for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns, with his play Saturday helped defeat Prairie View A&M.

Howard’s Ian Wheeler had a stud performance against Robert Morris University with 4 carries for 81 yards and a touchdown, followed by 2 receptions for 45 yards.

Last but not least Christofer Zellous at Hampton destroyed The Richmond Spiders going 24/34 over 250 yards passing 60 yards rushing, with 3 Touchdowns for the day. 2 rushing and 1 passing. This kid showing up on Saturdays. Look out.
