This we we had some players that stood out in the HBCU football community in league play and FBS play. Let’s take a look at some players that had a huge weekend.

  • Irv Mulligan, RB, Jackson State: 23 carries, 115 yds, 5.0 on average
  • Cameron Young, WR, Alabama A&M: 8 receptions for 110 yds, 13.8 an average and a touchdown
  • Xavier Lankford, QB, Alabama A&M: Went 21 for 36, 265 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He added 10 carries for 42 yards, and averaged 4.2 YPC, and two touchdowns.
  • Marcus Riley, WR, FAMU: 7 receptions, 97 yds., and 13.9 on average
  • Kisean Johnson, WR, Alabama State: 6 receptions, 99 yds, and 16.5 in Average
  • Kamari Young, WR, FAMU: 6 Receptions for 68 yds
  • Jaxson Davis, TE, Mississippi Valley State: 7 receptions for 62 yards, 8.9 yards on average, and one touchdown
  • Jordan Grant, RB, Tennessee State: Finished for 18 carries, 105 yds, and 5.8 a carry, scoring two touchdowns
  • Jackson Foster, P, Tennessee State: 9 punts for 359 yards, and a 39.9 average
  • NyGhee Lolley, WR, Delaware State: 4 receptions, for 92 yards, and 23.0 average and a touchdown
  • EJ Core, WR, Delaware State: 4 receptions, 85 yards, 21.2 average and a touchdown
  • Rahkeem Smith, KR/PR, Delaware State: 5 returns for 220 yards and a touchdown 44.0 average.
  • Latrell Collier, RB, North Carolina Central University: Finished with 95 yards, 8.6 average, and a touchdown
  • Jawarn Howell, RB, South Carolina State: 6 carries for 76 yds, 12.7 yards an average. Just a Freshman
  • Justin Smith-Brown, WR, South Carolina State: 2 receptions for 93 yds., 46.5 an average and a touchdown.
  • Rashad Eades, WR, Mississippi Valley State: 3 receptions for 61 yds., 21.0 an average.
  • Trazon Connley, QB, Prairie View: 11/18, 259 yds and two touchdowns
  • Jahquan Bloomfield, WR, Southern: 3 receptions, 94 yds, and 31.3 in average.
  • Aaron Allen, QB, Alcorn State: 20/31, 248 passing yds 3 touchdowns and the interception
  • Antonio Jones, WR, Grambling State: 3 receptions, 118 yds, 39.3 in average to catch.
