Pittman’s Pocket: HBCU Top Performers for Week 8
There was a lot of good league play in the HBCU football community this week. We break down several players who showed out in week 8.
Mississippi Valley State running back DePhabian Fant had a strong performance late in the game against Jackson State with 4 carries 99 yards and 1 touchdown.
Jackson State #15 Jacobian Morgan went 20/36 for 141 yards passing and a touchdown including 10 carries for 75 yards and 1 touchdown.
Ladarius Owens #22 from Texas Southern carried the ball 19 times for 128 yards against FAMU.
FAMU #9 Kelvin Dean Jr finished with 9 carries 83 yards and 1 touchdown.
Worked as a Scout and volunteer for the East n West Shriners game in 2016-2017.
Also attended the Hula bowl and Tropical Bowl games. 2022
Also was a independent Agent and Scout at the CGS bowl game in 2021.
