Pittman’s Pocket: HBCU Week 6 Top Performances & True Freshman of the Week Award

This past weekend was a very good week for HBCU’S and their True Freshman class.
Ahmad Miller at Jackson State had another solid week for the tigers with 7 rushed for 57 yards, 1 touchdown.
South Carolina State Jawarn Howell had another impressive game against Virginia University of Lynchburg, carrying the ball 6 times for 67 yards. Cobi Orr was not lying, this freshman is only getting better!
But Ultimately this week’s winner goes to Eriq George from Tennessee State University. Yes, Tennessee State head coach Eddie George’s son, stood out this week against Kennesaw State by racking up 5 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a TFL. He is continues to improve for the Tigers and is this week’s Diamond 💎! We would like to congratulate him.
