Connecticut High School Teacher arrested for shoving high school football player to the ground during a game
A Connecticut man was arrested and charged for shoving a high school football player at a game this past weekend.
Last Friday, in a tough game between Derby and Kennedy, a fight erupted on the field between players and family members.
During this time there was also numerous adults involved on both teams’ sidelines who were trying to calm down players and break up the altercation.
Robert Swierbitowicz, a 47-year-old High School Teacher at Derby was seen shoving an 18-year-old Kennedy football player to the ground.
Swierbitowicz was charged with breach of peace second-degree. He was released on a promise to appear and is due in court Tuesday.
