Player Summary:

Transferred from Texas A&M Commerce (FCS), 3-year letterman, 3-year starter who has played in 38 career games and has 38 starts under his belt. Has a slim, rangy body with long arms. Has a quick release off LOS vs man coverage, extends distance from DB after POA while leveraging body on crossing/over routes vs aggressive Dbs. Has good play recognition, has a knack at cutting routes off, finding holes in zone coverage, and making self-available for the QB. Solid catching ability after contact from DB, looks ball into the tuck and wastes no time working up field for extra yardage. Shows willingness to block, does not sink hips, does not move feet fluidly to move defenders to create yards after contact opportunities for runners. Play strength could use improvement when blocking, hand placement is off along with pad level being high on initial contact. Does have good deep ball speed, although he does not blow past DBs that are athletic with good COD coupled with solid speed.

Scheme Fit:

A spread offense utilizing RPO that occasionally uses him in motion.

Power Statement:

A solid receiver who is quick off the LOS with reliable hands and fights for extra yards, having good play recognition to make himself available on every play. Displays sound ability of finding holes in zone coverages and fighting for extra yardage.
