The Patriots will head off to Dallas this Sunday to face off vs. the Dallas Cowboys who are coming off a tough loss vs. the Arizona Cardinals. New England is coming off a close win vs. the New York Jets, it wasn’t a pretty game but I will take the win. The Patriots are looking healthy ahead of the week four matchup, but Dallas on the other hand is not. Here is one thing you should watch for in Sunday’s game.

Playing Good Defense:

The Dallas Cowboys are without Star left tackle Tyron Smith (Knee), New England is going to have to exploit that. Losing a tackle position is HUGE, expect Keion White (Rookie),  Deatrich Wise, and  Matt Judon to all play big parts in this game. Bill Belichick will need to call blitzes from Dak Prescott’s “Blind Side” and force turnovers. Creating pressure on Prescott is going to be huge for the Patriots.

Good Coverage downfield will force the Cowboys to throw it away or run with it. Creating turnovers is going to win the Patriots this game. New England’s secondary is strong and fast. Rookie Christian Gonzalez has been playing incredible football and is playing like a top-ten corner in this league.

This Defense will NEED to stop Dak Prescott and Tony Pollard if they want to win.

Karver’s final thoughts:

I know the Patriots are going to play a good game defensively, they have the past few games. Our defense is a “Bend don’t break” type of defense, unfortunately sometimes it does break but the defense is tired by that time. The Offense will need to step it up vs. a weak Cowboys secondary and get rid of the ball quickly. If the Patriots hold on to the ball for too long, it will be trouble. New England is going to win this game by playing good mental football.
