Report: Michigan State intends to fire head football coach Mel Tucker
According to Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press, Michigan State is expected to fire Head Football Coach Mel Tucker.
The report from the school says Michigan State has begun the process of firing head football coach Mel Tucker for cause amid an ongoing investigation into sexual harassment allegations.
Tucker, who is in his fourth season and has a $95 million contract, was suspended without pay Sept. 10 after USA Today reported that Brenda Tracy, a sexual assault prevention activist, accused Tucker of making sexually explicit comments and masturbating during a phone call.
Tucker claimed their relationship was “mutually consensual and intimate.”
This is a huge loss for Michigan State, and Mel Tucker.
