Player Summary:
Senior. Starts at OLB. Normally in a 2-pt stance but will occasionally put his hand in the dirt at DE. Former WR turned DE; is a freak athlete who could test through the roof. Thick upper/lower body bulk based on the view from film. High-quality prospect in all phases of the game. Good as a run defender and pass rusher and has ability to drop back and cover the pass. As a run defender, he is good. Good point-of-attack defender who can set an edge and force RBs inside. Takes on double team blocks aggressively and maintains active feet and hands. Displays good instincts and read/reaction time to the ball. Can get penetration/vertical push in short yardage situations and around the GL. Needs to develop strength to shed bigger OLs a little quicker and show he can pursue ballcarriers off the backside. Dips his head a little bit when tackling instead of keeping his eyes up and neck bulled. Not afraid to stick his nose in a pile and finish. As a pass rusher, he is good, and recorded multiple sacks. Is an effective blitzer who takes good angles to the QB and wraps up. Has a strong counter move to create misdirection, cause opposing OTs to overset, and quickly slants inside to the QB. Can drop in coverage and cover receivers in the short passing game. Really stays on them and displays good movement skills in space. Good motor, works to the whistle, high effort.

Power Statement:
Jeremy is a high quality prospect. He is a good run defender and good pass rusher, and he can also drop in coverage. It would be nice if one of our scouts could attend one of his games and get a good look at his body type. He is a strong athlete who should develop into a legitimate prospect.
