This week we have 3 True Freshman who performed well for their HBCU program.
Jawarn Howell #22 from South Carolina State University had a good night against Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The 6’1, 215-pound Running back had a very good night rushing 6 times for 64 yards and averaging 10.7 yards per rush.
Tylon Williams #17 From Grambling State had a breakout game against Florida Memorial University with 4 catches for 113 yards and a touchdown. The longest reception was for 67 yards!
Jackson State Ahmad Miller #27 had a big day against Division 1 opponent Texas State rushing 13 carries for 98 yards. Averaging 7 yards a carry. I truly enjoyed Aubrey Miller’s baby brother holding his own as a True Freshman Diamond!
