Georgia Bulldogs = Georgia Reckless Drivers | Staff member arrested for reckless driving
Georgia has had at least 14 players arrested or receiving citations for speeding or reckless driving since the fatal crash on Jan. 15 that resulted in the deaths of offensive lineman Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy. You would think they would learn, but you cannot learn when your leaders are just as bad as the players.
According to reports, Jarvis Jones the former Pittsburgh Steelers first round pick and former Bulldog was arrested late Friday night in Athens, Georgia, for speeding and reckless driving. Yes, this is a staff member/coach. How are the kids supposed to learn a lesson if the coaches/staff members are doing the same thing?
Jones was charged with reckless driving and speeding-maximum limits and booked into Clarke County Jail, according to Athens-Clarke County Police jail records. He was released early Saturday morning on $2,400 bond.
Jones was an All-American in 2011-12 and still holds the record for sacks in a season with 14.5, and tackles for loss with 24.5.
He was drafted by the Steelers with the 17th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, and is working for the Bulldogs staff.
