DJ Uiagalelei’s Dad takes a shot at Dabo Swinney for his take on the transfer portal and NIL money
A video was posted by Josh Pate talking about Dabo Swinney needing to adapt to the new era of football. He talked about utilizing the transfer portal to your advantage and how the NIL process works, but there was one person that wanted to fire his shot at the ole ball coach.
David Uiagalelei the father of DJ the former Clemson quarterback who left the school this off-season to attend Oregon State took a shot at Dabo.
He said this in a tweet:
Dabo Swinney will have to adapt to the culture because he just let Duke run all over them. Duke a basketball school, looked like a powerhouse against the ranked Tigers.
Holding Clemson to only 7 points is a massive win for Duke, and should have sent a big time message to Coach Swinney. This past weekend DJ Uiagalelei looked like an NFL ready quarterback, so we will see if the Tigers ultimately made the right decision in letting him walk.
