Delta State football game ends when Chowan players start massive brawl
The Delta State and Chowan football game ended in a heated fight that saw one Delta State football player being struck in the head with a helmet multiple times.
Six Chowan players have been suspended including defensive lineman Nikotis Gordon, who can be seen on the video below swinging his helmet several times at a Delta State player.
The Gulf South Conference suspended six Chowan University football players, including one for the season, following a brawl in Saturday’s game against Delta State. Neither the conference nor Chowan named the players in its statement announcing the penalties.
