Player Summary:

Senior.  Transferred from UK in 2021.  Starts at OWR.  Will rarely align at inside WR but is mostly outside.  Solid possession wideout with good height, strength and an athletic frame.  Long legged frame with a high butt.  Good blocker and average as a receiver.  As a receiver, he is average.  Displays good hands in a crowd over the MOF.  Displays good hands, can take a tough hit and maintain possession of the ball.  Has good on-field awareness and is able to sit in soft spots in zones.  Good ball adjustment and can make one-handed catches down the SL. Has below-average separation/route running ability and is more of a linear player.  Marginal leaping ability.  Struggles to win contested, jump-ball catches downfield v. corners and gives up inside leverage.  Has a tough time creating separation v. press coverage.  Speed is marginal – isn’t a top-end burner and isn’t a home-run threat after-the-catch.  Will finish forward on contact but struggles to make defenders miss.  As a blocker, he is good.  Takes good angles to DBs, exhibits good strike timing with his hands, and is able to run his feet on contact.  Has physicality, good finisher and plays with good effort.

Scheme Fit:

WR – X/Z.

Power Statement:

Bryce is a solid possession wide receiver with good size and strength for the position.  He could improve by getting better as a route runner and working on separation v. press coverage, as well as winning one-on-one contested catches.
