Alabama football player has been arrested for sexual assault charges

Alabama football player Antonio Ross was booked into Calhoun County jail on 2nd degree sodomy charges.
The Grand Jury indicted him on the sexual charges. Ross, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound freshman defensive back, has been removed from the online roster on the University of Alabama website. He joined the team this year as a walk-on out of Alexandria High School, where he was a first-team all-state performer in 2022.
Ross number 44 at Alabama was not listed on the roster from this week between Alabama and Texas.
This assault happened in the city of Weaver, which is a city located in Calhoun County.
Ross since posted a $50,000 bond.
