USFL running back and former NFL draft pick died in a motorcycle accident at 28

The Ravens, Seahawks, and USFL are mourning the passing of former running back Alex Collins.
Collins, 28, had his two best seasons with the Ravens in 2017 and 2018 and became one of the league’s best underdog stories during a magical 2017 run. According to reports, Collins died in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., according to Ian Margol of WPLGLocal10 in South Florida.
Collins ran for over 3,700 yards and 36 touchdowns from 2013-15 with the Razorbacks before being drafted in the 2016 NFL Draft.
It’s been a difficult summer for both the Ravens and the Razorbacks. Razorbacks/Ravens quarterback Ryan Mallett also died in June.
Please keep the Collins family in your prayers.
