What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?

I can catch the ball out of the backfield, and run routes like a receiver, I can block anyone that’s lined up in front of me. I also have pretty good agility that gives me separation from defenders, and I’m not afraid to run through a defender’s face. 

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

When I was 8 years old

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I can adapt to any offense

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

Helping children and adults with autism 

What is the best advice you have ever received?

To never give up on your dreams and goals, because you choose your own path.

My Mother

Javon Davis

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People with no sense of humor

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome? 

Not being able to play the sport I love because some school credits didn’t transfer over. But I ended up being cleared by the NCAA last minute to play my senior season on time.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

The University of LaVerne never gave up on me even when I was struggling, the coaching staff motivated me to get to where I am and showed me that when there’s a will, there’s a way.

What is your favorite snack food?

Chips & Dip

What is the best part of football?

The memories, you create lots of memories with a group of guys forever and you become brothers.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

A motivated workhorse who’s a go-getter when any opportunity presents itself.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

This is really hard but I’m probably between Kareem Hunt, and Saquon just because of the way they’re very agile and hard to tackle and catch the ball very well out the backfield and can get some good RAC. 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Tupac, Drake, and my Uncle Michael. I say those three people because Tupac said a lot of things in his rap lyrics that still pertain today and he says a lot of motivational things too also. Second I’d say Drake because he is my favorite music artist and I wanted to ask him how he stays on top of the music game after owning an entire decade, where does the passion and motivation come from? And what are the keys to success? Lastly, I say my uncle Michael because everyone in my family talked so highly of him I wish I got to truly get to know him and see what everyone in my family was talking about.
