Eight Great Quarterbacks that never won a Super Bowl

When you ask an NFL player their number one goal, all of them will tell you it is to win the Super Bowl. It is not easy to do, and many legendary quarterbacks have not won the big game.
We are breaking down the Top 10 best quarterbacks to never win a Super Bowl. Let’s have fun:
- Dan Marino – As mentioned earlier, Marino is often regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. He had a legendary career with the Miami Dolphins but never won a Super Bowl.
- Fran Tarkenton – Tarkenton was a dynamic and mobile quarterback who played primarily for the Minnesota Vikings. He led the Vikings to three Super Bowls but unfortunately came up short in all three appearances.
- Warren Moon – Moon was a trailblazing quarterback who had a highly successful career in both the NFL and CFL. He achieved numerous accolades but never won a Super Bowl.
- Jim Kelly – Kelly was the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills during their incredible run of four consecutive Super Bowl appearances in the early 1990s. Unfortunately, they couldn’t secure a championship during those trips.
- Philip Rivers – Rivers was a consistent and productive quarterback during his time with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers. He had an impressive career but never reached the Super Bowl.
- Dan Fouts – Fouts was an outstanding passer who spent his entire career with the San Diego Chargers. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame despite not winning a Super Bowl.
- Boomer Esiason – Esiason had a notable career with the Cincinnati Bengals and was named the NFL MVP in 1988. However, he never won a Super Bowl.
- Donovan McNabb – McNabb was a highly accomplished quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles and led the team to several NFC Championship games but fell short of winning a Super Bowl.
These quarterbacks are just a few examples of the many talented players who couldn’t secure a Super Bowl victory during their careers. Despite not winning the ultimate prize, their contributions to the game and their respective franchises are still highly esteemed.
