Three Players who stood out in Patriots final preseason game vs. the Titans

Written by Karver Jordan
The New England Patriots would fall vs. the Tennessee Titans on Friday night, but there were multiple players who stood out in the loss. Let’s take a look at the few who stood out for the Patriots.
- Calvin Munson (LB)
The 28-year-old veteran linebacker would have a good game vs. the Titans, Munson is a name to watch out for as we close in on the 53-man roster cuts. Munson recorded ten tackles and an interception. The LB is making a strong case to make the final roster.
- Sam Roberts (DL)
Sam Roberts was unstoppable vs the Titans, taking on double teams and still making plays. The 6-foot-5 300 pound defensive tackle had seven tackles and a sack in the final preseason game. A very impressive showing from the young DT, I expect this kid to be a very solid piece to this Patriots defensive front for a long time.
- Thyrick Pitts (WR)
The rookie wide receiver out of Delaware had himself a very solid game with the Patriots. Thyrick Pitts would finish the day as the Patriots leading receiver with two receptions for 26 yards. One play that stood out was when Pitts just wouldn’t go down, a solid catch and run for the big bodied WR. Big exceptions for the Rookie for the 2023 season.
Karver’s Final thoughts:
The Patriots have some work to do on the offensive side of the ball but I think they played a good game on the defensive side. The Patriots will continue to prepare for week one vs the Philadelphia Eagles.
